Register for upcoming PBS workshop

The Crosby Branch Library will be hosting a FREE PBS workshop for adults on Saturday, October 17, from 10 am - 2 pm. This workshop is based on the daily television series, A Place of Our Own and Sid, The Science Kid. It is for adults and will focus on developing children's language and literacy skills with the theme of Conflict Resolution. You MUST register to attend and space is limited. Things you can do at the library:

Use the computers to look & apply for jobs online, make a resume.

Check out books on interviewing and making resumes.

Check out a laptop if you are  12 or older & have had your card for 30 days.

Get wireless access for your own laptop.

Find books & databases to help with homework.

Work on genealogy.

Borrow audiobooks or find out how to download audiobooks at home.

Or even . . . read a good book.

During the heat emergency this summer, branches opened at 10 AM Monday-Friday. Regular hours resume for all branch locations on Tuesday, September 8.  Regular hours are listed on each branch page as well as the main locations page.
