Crosby Book Club will meet Friday, September 18, at 2 pm.  This month we celebrate Hispanic Heritage and recognize the contributions and culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans.  The public is invited to join a discussion of Bless Me, Ultima, a novel which vividly captures the Chicano experience of growing up in 1940's rural New Mexico.  Rudolfo Anaya's classic and highly acclaimed story, about a young boy named Antonio, and Ultima, a traditional healer, earned him the sobriquet "Godfather of Chicano Literature".
