New! LEGO WeDo Robotics

LEGO RobotsDo you enjoy LEGOs? Are you interested in computers? Then we have a new program just for you! On Monday, February 8 at 4:00 pm we will build a LEGO model and then make it move using Scratch computer coding. No coding experience is necessary.

Participation is limited to 12 kids, aged 8-12. Sign up here or register at the front desk at the library.

This program is funded (in part) by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (2016).

New! Coloring to the Classics

Stained Glass FlowerCurious about the new adult coloring trend? Then come to the library on Monday, January 25 at 4:00 pm and give it a try! Relax and have fun coloring while listening to classical music. All materials will be provided and the program is free and open to the public.

Book Club, Friday, Jan. 15 @ 2 pm

Crosby Book Club will meet Friday, January 15, at 2 pm,  to discuss Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear.  The story of a young woman who rises from manor-house servant to private investigator, Maisie Dobbs takes place in early 20th century London.  Fans of Downton Abbey might enjoy this book, the first in the Maisie Dobbs series.  

New Year, New Classes

picture of laptopIs learning more about computers on your list of New Year's resolutions?  Then come join us for free computer classes! Classes for adults are every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Topics this month include Basic Windows, Basic Internet and Free Email.

Just A Reminder: Holiday Hours

Crosby Library will close Tuesday, December 22 at 6 pm, and reopen Monday, December 28 at 12 pm.

Also, the library will close at 5 pm on Thursday, December 31, and reopen Monday, January 4 at 12 pm.
