Stuart Little on Stage

stuart little flierPlanning out your summer activities?  Then be sure and include “Stuart Little" on stage at Lone Star College-CyFair.  Adapted by Joseph Robinette and based on the book by E.B. Whte, this is the endearing classic about a mouse named Stuart who is born into an ordinary New York family. The many adventures – both big and small – of Stuart Little are brought vividly to life in the story-theatre presentation.

pat o'briens in new orleansIt wasn't New Orleans, but don’t tell that to Scubie Hoyt, a piano bar maven, who led us in song and a rip-roaring good time.

"A vocalist and pianist [Ms. Hoyt] has performed at Pat O'Brien's in the New Orleans French Quarter for more than 25 years.  Known to many by the stage name "Scubie," Mrs. Hoyt plays by request and is accomplished in all types of music, from swing, jazz and blues to pop. She has appeared on the David Letterman Show. She's also played for celebrities such as Carol Channing, Whoopie Goldberg and Jim Nabors" -- Alabama Music Office
