Eureka!: Science & Discovery Book Club

science imageJoin our new Eureka!: Science & Discovery Book Club. This new STEM focused book club will explore the history, marvels, and emerging trends of science, technology, engineering, math, medicine and more.

Our first meeting is Tuesday, September 24, from 1:30-2:30pm, in LRNC 131. We will be discussing Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach.
"Despite the irreverent, macabre title, this is a respectful and serious examination of what happens to cadavers, past and present. Salon columnist Roach explains how surgeons and doctors use cadavers donated for research purposes to help the living, and also examines potential new variations on how we bury the dead." - Library Journal review excerpt
