Getting Started With Genealogy

roots

We all have roots!

We all come from an ancestral line, no matter how obscured by time and history.

Researching your family history is one of the most popular hobbies going today. And the rewards are many. You will learn about much more than just your family. You will learn history. You will learn how to be a detective. But beyond that, you will have fun!

Day of the Dead Chocolate!

Join us this coming Tuesday (10/7/14) in the meeting room, as Mrs. Pearson and our guest Annette Kinslow make tasty Day of the Dead chocolates! It starts at 5:30 and runs until 7:30, but show up early as supplies are limited!

"My Beloved World" Book Discussion

The Evelyn Meador Branch Library of Seabrook celebrates National Hispanic American Heritage Month with a book discussion of "My Beloved World" by Sonia Sotomayor. This is the compelling autobiography of the first Latina Supreme Court Justice in U. S. History.
