Join us this Saturday (2/25) at 11am (meeting room) in welcoming Jolyn Brand of Brand College Consulting as she gives us a presentation about the differences and how to prepare for these all important tests! Next Monday: "Git" on Board: the Life of Harriet Tubman

Next Monday (2/20) at 5:30pm in the meeting room, join us as Young Audiences of Houston's Hope Shiver interweaves Harriet Tubman’s poignant story with spirituals and work songs, allowing students to discover the lyrics of such songs as “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” and “Git on Board,” which often contained hidden messages for slaves preparing to escape to freedom. David Keepman provides musical accompaniment as students chant, clap, cheer, and rejoice in experiencing the famous railroad. No registration is required, just show up early to get a good spot!

Next Wednesday: Tinkering 101!

Next Wednesday at 4pm in the iMaker Space, Tinkering 101! Bring toys and small/inexpensive electronic items to disassemble and tinker with. In our first session, we will be taking apart a computer. Focus on modifications and circuit bending. No registration required.
