Awesome Crafts Twice a Month!

Just a reminder that we're still doing our awesome and unique youth crafts twice a month here at Evelyn Meador. They are usually the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, and start at 4:30 in the meeting room. Yesterday we made Mardi Gras masks!

Homework Help!

Having problems with those math and science assignments? Loosing sleep over your project? We have some great tutors lined up to help you along. We're currently offering Homework help on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30pm in the Children's area, but be sure to check our Events Calendar for additional days in the coming months!

Houston Cougars in the 1960s

Join us February 9th at 7pm in the meeting  room, when, in celebration of African American History Month, author Robert Jacobus will share a unique part of Houston history. His book, "Houston Cougars in the 1960s: Death Threats, the Veer Offense, and the Game of the Century", tells the tale of the integration of collegiate athletics in Houston.

Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!

Just a reminder that the Evelyn Meador Library will be closed on Monday, January 18th for  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will open again at our usual  time on Tuesday the 19th at 10am. Have a great weekend!
