Happy Birthday Evelyn Meador!

Marsha’s Petting Zoo and Happy the Clown helped us our 25th Birthday on Thursday, June 20th. We had a great turnout for both events.  Baby animals, magic, face painting, cake and lemonade were enjoyed by kids and adult alike!

We will also be celebrating on Tuesday, June 25th from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. with hot dogs and music.

Won’t you join us for our Happy Birthday Evelyn Meador Celebration?

Everyone Is Invited!

Saltgrass Science Spiders Visit Evelyn Meador

Why did the itsy bitsy spider crawl up the waterspout? No one really knows, but on Monday 6/24 from 4:30-5:30 pm you can experience some science fun with Ms. Ellen Hutto. This program will be all about our favorite eight-legged critters.

Chart-Art Exhibit by Gwendolyn Brown-Bailey

The Evelyn Meador Library, a Harris County Public Library, is pleased to announce a reception for local artist Gwendolyn Brown-Bailey on Monday, June 17 at 6 pm in the library’s meeting room.  A curated selection of her beautiful seafaring-inspired water colors are on display in the meeting room.  Many of the pieces are multimedia, featuring images of lighthouses and ships as well as other marine scenery superimposed on old navigation charts.  Her artwork reflects a love of painting married with a life-long passion for the sea.
