Until the opening of the new building, The Evelyn Meador Book Club will hold their regular meeting in the conference room at Coffee Oasis (4650 Nasa Parkway) in Seabrook.

This week the Friends of Evelyn Meador and the librarians got their first look inside the new building. It's not finished yet, but it's coming along rather nicely, don't you think?

Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser in Seabrook

dinnerThe Friends of the Evelyn Meador Library invite you to attend their Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at the Bay Elementary School cafeteria on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m.  This annual dinner is hosted by Angelo’s Pizza & Pasta Restaurant and all proceeds benefit the new Evelyn Meador Library.

auctionIn addition to a wonderful spaghetti dinner, there will be a silent auction featuring exciting items donated by generous local businesses and organizations such as Lakewood Yacht Club, Wells Fargo Bank, Hooters, Angel Cuts and others.
