As of April 21st, 2010

This may just look like a bunch of dirt to some people, but to you and me and a few others in the know, this is exciting stuff.! All of this dirt being pushed around means we are on target for the new Evelyn Meador Branch Library coming in 2011! (We're hoping to have the slab poured by the end of May.)

Evelyn Meador Friends Annual Meeting

The Friends of the Evelyn Meador Library will hold their Annual Board Meeting on Thursday, April 22nd at the Seabrook Community House, located next to City Hall at 1210 Anders Avenue. Refreshments will be served at 6:30 and guest speaker Mary Sue Anton, author of New Madrid: a Mississippi River Town in history and legend (2009), will speak at 7:00 p.m. As always, the public is welcome!
