Happy Birthday, Evelyn Meador Library!

We can hardly believe it! Evelyn Meador Library in Seabrook celebrates its sixth anniversary in our new building this month. We will hold a birthday party to celebrate on Thursday, June 29 from 3 pm until 5 pm. Twenty-nine years old and we look great!

Come to the library to get out of the heat and enjoy conversation over cake and light refreshments. Happy the Clown will entertain and your children will be the stars of the show. The Friends of the Evelyn Meador Library will hold a children’s book sale from 2-5 pm with bargain prices to benefit the library. We also have gaming for tweens and teens at 4 pm.

Programs and services are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliant. Special accommodation can be requested in advance by contacting the library.

Another Great Japanese Culture and History Display!

In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, for May our display case (Elton Porter's Window on the World) is hosting another great Japanese culture filled collection. Each year Emily Egan Sensei of Clear Lake Iaido is gracious enough to lend us a new selection and we cannot thank her enough! Come check it out!
