Teen Read Week

Celebrate Teen Read Week by visiting the Fairbanks Library and picking up your next great read.  Not sure what to read next?  Stop by the desk and ask for read-alikes for your favorite books or authors.  While you’re at the library, make sure to sign up for the Teen Book Club kickoff party, happening Saturday, October 25, at 1:00 p.m.

A Sculptor, a Rancher, and Pots of Chili

Ben ClaytonThe Fairbanks Library will host two events in conjunction with Gulf Coast Reads. On Monday, October 20, at 6:30 pm, we will host a chili tasting and recipe exchange. Participants will bring a pot of homemade chili, sample chili brought by others, and exchange recipes.

Bilingual Puppet Show Party

The Fairbanks Branch Library puppets invite you to an after-school bilingual puppet show party on Friday, October 10 at 4:00 PM.  As part of the library's celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the event not only features a bilingual puppet play but various craft activities and refreshments, too.  So, mark your calendar for the party and join the fun.  The puppets look forward to seeing you at the show.  Happy Reading!
