Celebrating Poetry

If, as the saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers," the month of April also brings time to celebrate the art of poetry.  To give yourself and family and friends a treat, please check our latest display at the library which celebrates books of poetry especially for young readers.  "Celebrating Poetry" features various authors whose verses will delight and amuse you.  Happy Reading!

Teen Movie Afternoons

Our new Teen Advisory Group has planned fun movie afternoons for you to enjoy. Grades 6-12 are invited to join us in the meeting room for popcorn, drinks, candy, and fun movies. This month's featured films are Despicable Me on Friday, April 8, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and The Lovely Bones on Saturday, April 30, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
