Can you hear that whistle blow? Do you see that train coming down the track? Then, it's time to climb aboard and take a trip to the Fairbanks Branch Library and browse our newest display of books which are all about trains. Don't let those train whistles be lonesome and stuck at the station. Check out some train books to take home to share with family and friends. Happy Reading!

Well, not really "raining" books, but the Fairbanks Branch Library does have many books in our collection about cats and dogs. Several of those titles are now in a new display at the library and you are encouraged to browse the display on your next visit to the library. The library staff is happy to help you find books and materials you need, so please don't hesitate to ask us if you don't find what you need. Happy Reading!
As far as I can tell, no one has ever declared April to be International Shakespeare Month, but I think they should. Most people agree that he was the most important playwright in the history of the English language. He is thought to have been born around April 23, 1564, and he died April 23, 1616. In case you would like to honor him by reading some of his plays this month, I’ve done some research and found that many people think that Shakespeare’s best-loved tragedies are Romeo&nbs
