Get Away @ Your Library

The theme of this year's Teen Read Week is Get Away @ Your Library.  The library has always been the gateway to exciting new places that can only be found in books or movies, but this year we are giving away a prize pack to help you get away.  Teens can stop by the young adult display to enter to win the Getaway Prize Pack, complete the Fairbanks Teens survey, and grab a free bookmark.  The grand prize winner will receive a teal tote bag, a Smoothie King gift card, a #GoneReading bookmark, and a copy of Jesse Andrew's book "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl".

Chilling Chapters

Are looking for some stories to chill your bones and make your hair stand up?  Then you should browse one of our latest displays featuring titles that can do just that--"Chilling Chapters."  So to scare up a good read, checkout some of these books and give yourself a good old-fashioned hair-raising read!  Happy Reading!

Monster Movie Day

Join us this Saturday, October 17, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the library meeting room, as we decide which is best—witches, werewolves, or zombies.  The winner decides which movie we will watch.  Will it be Beautiful Creatures, Red Riding Hood, or Warm Bodies?  Grades 6-12 are invited, and drinks and snacks will be provided.  Don’t miss it!
