Looking for Our Summer Events?

ScheduleIf you're looking for a schedule of our summer events, you're on the right page.  On the right hand side of the page, at the bottom of the light gray box, the words "Events Calendar" always lead you to a calendar showing what's going on at our branch.  That's where you can find our special summer events for children, in addition to our regular story times, computer classes, etc.  Happy summer! Congratulations graduates!

The Fairbanks Library wants to give the Class of 2012 a big pat on the back for all their hard work!

In the words of the great Dr. Seuss,

"You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.  And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go." ~ Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Don't Leave Home Without One!

What should you never leave home without, especially if you are taking a trip?  A travel guide, of course!  As summer gets closer and students will be out of school for the summer, it's time to think about vacations and where to go.  To help you plan your summer vacation, we have a new display of travel guides for traveling in our 50 states and also outside the country.  Please plan a trip to the library and browse the display.  If we don't have the travel guide you need, please ask us and we will interlibrary loan one for you.  Happy Summer Vacation Planning!
