Help Wanted

Help WantedOur neighbors in the Fairbanks area are very generous when it comes to donating books to the Friends of the Library.  Many of the books look almost brand new.  In spite of this, there are always plenty of books left over after a book sale.  So, the Friends need volunteers to sell the books online through  Duties would include listing the books on the Amazon web site and shipping them when they’re purchased.  Please leave your name and number with the staff if you’re interested.  [Clipart © Jupiter Images]

Prescription for Murder

Do you like to read mysteries and suspense stories?  Do you like medical thrillers and mysteries with a forensic touch?  Then you should browse our new display called "Prescription for Murder" and I am sure you can find some interesting and intriguing good reads we have placed there.  If you already have some favorite authors, please ask us to interlibrary loan titles for you or place a request for you on new titles that are "on order."  Don't forget that our interlibrary loan service includes requesting titles from libraries all across the fifty states.  Happy Reading!
