Holiday Evening Storytime @ your library

To help parents and children celebrate the holiday season, your library @ Fairbanks is offering a holiday-themed evening storytime on Monday, December 21 at 7:00 pm.  We will share several stories with a holiday theme along with a holiday craft.  Please join us for this storytime and while you are at your library, please see our displays of holiday picture books, cooking books, and decorating books.  I bet you will find something to checkout.  And, as always, if we do not have the item you need, we are happy to request it for you.  Cheers!

Even When We're Closed, We're Open

OpenHave you ever desperately needed something and been devastated when you realized the library was closed?  Fear not!  Just because the building is closed doesn't mean you can't get what you need.  Here are a few examples of what's available 24/7 through our web site:
you can renew items by going into "My account,"
you can request items you find in our online catalog,
you can download audio books, music, videos, or electronic books,

Popular Picks @ Your Library

What do I mean by "Popular Picks"?  These are books that members of the staff here at Fairbanks Branch have read and want to recommend to you for your reading pleasure.  We have created two displays of "Popular Picks" titles--one for adult titles and one for young adult titles.  So, visit the library and check what titles are currently on the displays that we recommend.
