Children's Program changes for the holiday season

There will be a few changes to the storytime and children's program schedules for the next two weeks for the holiday season.  We will have our regular Book Babies, Toddler Time, and Preschool Storytime programming on the Tuesday of each week (December 20 and 27).  We also will have Preschool Storytime at the regular 1:30 pm time on the two Wednesdays (December 21 and 28).   However, the Monday and Wednesday Toddler Time programs and the Wednesday Book Babies will not be held for the two weeks.  They will resume their normal schedule on Tuesday, January 3.

Santa Claus is coming to Freeman Library on Thursday, December 15 at 5:30 pm

It's not too late to get a picture of your child talking to Santa Claus.  He has scheduled his annual stop at Freeman Library for Thursday, December 15 from 5:30-7:00 pm.  Parents or caregivers are encouraged to bring a camera to capture a picture of their child's visit with Santa in the Rotunda Area on the first floor.  After visiting Santa, children can pick a candy cane donated by Walgreens.

To festively frame the picture, there also will be a picture frame decorating program in the Children's Activity Space starting at 5:30 pm.  Children can decorate a foam picture frame to remember their visit with Santa.
