TGIF Programs Hosts Andrew Coleman's Presentation "1900 Storm in Words & Photos" Friday

TGIF Programs invites adults of all ages to join us on Friday, October 9 at 10:30 AM. We are pleased to host a presentation by Andrew Coleman, Historian, Digital Projects and Interpretations for the Galveston Historical Foundation. This presentation is part one of the Gulf Coast Reads events hosted at Freeman Library.

The October Adult Crafts-To-Go Project is Here!

Adults – please stop by the upstairs Reference Desk, to pick up your own Adult Crafts-To-Go kit. We’ll be making a decorative autumn clip. This free kit will include all materials necessary as well as instructions. This project will be available while supplies last. Materials for this Maker program are provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Fall Crafts are Fun!

Looking for some festive crafts for the children to do in October?  Join us this Thursday, October 8 at 4:30 for some fun fall crafts.  We'll be making a 3-D pumpkin, a clothespin bat, and a cute owl mask.  This program is recommended for children ages 3-12. years old.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program.   The Friends of Freeman Library generously donated the funds to purchase the supplies for the crafts.
