September is Library Card Sign-up Month

Freeman Library is observing Library Card Sign-Up Month in September.  Children coming to our storytimes can flash their library card to get a cute Dr. Seuss fish to put their name on for our bulletin board.   If your child does not have a library card yet; you can easily fill out a form and get a library card for your child to show off.   Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supplies for this fun program.

LEGO Robotics Camp Drawing Registration starts Saturday, September 9 and runs through Saturday, September 16

Looking for something for your 7-11 year old to do on Saturdays this October?  The LEGO Robotics Camp returns on the four Saturdays in October:10/7,10/14,10/21 and 10/28.  This free camp meets weekly in the Children's Activity Space for 90 minutes.  The children use their listening and cooperation skills as they work in pairs to create fun LEGO projects.  A teacher explains the science and engineering concepts in the projects and teen volunteers assist the children when needed.

Due to space limits, we hold a drawing for spots in the camp.  Children can register for the drawing at the Kids Information Desk starting this Saturday, September 9 through Saturday, September 16.  Children whose names are drawn will be notified by Friday, September 22.
