Santa Claus Visits Freeman Library on Thursday, December 13 @ 5:30 pm

      Santa Claus will be making his annual stop at Freeman Library this Thursday, December 13 from 5:30-7:00 pm.   Santa Claus will greet children and listen to their holiday wishes.  Parents are encouraged to bring a camera if they wish to take a picture of their child with Santa Claus.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available from the Kids Information Desk starting thirty minutes before the program.  The tickets will be numbered and the children will be called up in numeric order to meet Santa Claus.

-50+ & UHCL/CLASP Present "What a Scribble Can Do For You" - This Friday!

The under50over Program at Clear Lake City - County Freeman and the University of Houston - Clear Lake Association of Senior Programs (CLASP) invite you to join us Friday, December 7th at 10:30 am. The presentation will be "What a Scribble Can Do For You" and it will be presented by Phylis Tomlinson, Board Certified Art Therapist.

Winter Owls - December Adults-Crafts-to-Go!

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library will offer the continuation of the Adult “Crafts- to-Go!” program on Monday, December 3rd.  This month's project is a winter owl like the one seen on the right.  All materials needed are included within the bag, compliments of the Friends of Freeman Library.  This project will be available at the Second Floor Information Desk while supplies last.

December Programs for Children

    Join us for festive storytimes and events in December.   Santa Claus will make his annual stop at Freeman Library on Thursday, December 13 from  5:30-7:00 pm.  Parents are encouraged to bring a camera to take a picture of their child with Santa.  This program is recommended for children from infants to 12 years old.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available from the Kids Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the program.  The tickets will be numbered and the children will be called up to meet Santa Claus in numeric order.

Movie Day - under 50 over - Tomorrow @ your library!

Adults of all ages, please join us for the under50over Movie Day tomorrow. The title is to be announced. The movie will start at 10:15 am. Movie Day will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor of the library.
