LEGO Robotics Camp returns on Saturdays October 7, 14, 21 & 28

Freeman will be having a LEGO Robotics Camp again this fall on Saturdays October 7, 14, 21, and 28.  This free camp is recommended for children 7-11 years old.  It utilizes the LEGO WeDo program for children to use in putting together some fun LEGO projects each week.   The children work in pairs or a small group to learn engineering, math, and science concepts as well as use their listening and cooperation skills.   Due to the popularity of this program, we have a drawing for spots in the camp.   The registration for the drawing takes place at the Kids Information Desk.  It starts Saturday, September 9 and runs through Saturday, September 16.   The children whose names are drawn will be notified by Friday, September 22.

Toddlers-in-Motion

Toddlers 18 months-3 years old can burn off some energy on Friday morning, August 25 at 10:15 am during Toddlers-in-Motion.  This fun program combines movement, music,  and lots of playtime.   Children are encouraged to wear loose clothing and comfortable shoes because they'll be doing some dancing and sitting down activities.   Tickets are required.  They are free and available at the Kids Information Desk when the library opens at 10:00 am.   Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for their generous support of this program.
