Magician Mick Corley visits Freeman Library on Thursday, June18 @ 2:30 & 3:30 pm

   Get your funnybones ready...Magician Mick Corley visits Freeman Library on Thursday, June 18 for two shows at 2:30 and 3:30 pm.  Mick combines magic, humor, puppets and mime for a laugh-out-loud funny show.  But, he also always includes lots of references to he importance of reading and participating the Summer Reading Program.

Local Author Celebration

Join us this Saturday, 6/20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room for our Local Author Celebration.  We'll begin the day with the "Memories to Memoirs" workshop presented by Dion McInnis, followed by a brief introduction to resources available at the library for authors.

S-s-s....Snakes coming to Freeman on Thursday, June 11 @ 2:30 & 3:30 pm

Our first performer of the summer is Thomas Davis "The Snakeman" on Thursday, June 11 for shows at 2:30 and 3:30 pm.  The Snakeman will be talking about snakes and he'll bring several for the children to see and touch.  This program is recommended for children 5 years and older.

It's that time of year again....Time to sign up for the Summer Reading Program!  Children from infants through 12 years old can sign up for the 2015 Summer Reading Program (actually there's a summer reading program for the whole family - teens and adults, too).  This year's theme is "Every Hero has a Story".  For children from 18 months old, they can read 10 books (or have them read to them) to get a certificate, a free paperback book, and a star with their name on it.  For babies up to 18 months old, they can sign up to do 10 activities with their
