Hispanic Heritage @ Your Library

September 15th is the start of Hispanic Heritage Month and runs through mid-October. During this time, we honor the independence of the following Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile with cultural and festive programs.

Knitting Together @ Freeman

Don’t know how to knit and want to learn? Already know how to knit and want to share your talent with others? Join us for 4 weeks in fall for a beginner lesson in knitting or to socialize while knitting your own creations.

We will meet four Wednesdays, October 21st & 28th, November 4th & 11th, from 5-6 p.m. in the 2nd floor Conference Room. Registration is required and begins on September 21st. Retirement Education Classes @ Your Library


 In partnership with MWA Advisors, Inc, the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library invites you to attend classes this fall to gain the confidence needed to make informed retirement decisions with less stress. Classes will be held Wednesdays, September 16th, October 14th and November 4th at 6:30 p.m., each covering a different topic useful both to those planning for retirement and those already in retirement. Classes are free, open to the public and only for educational purposes. Please contact the library at 16616 Diana Lane or telephone 281-488-1906 to register.
