Lunar Rendezvous Festival donation, 2009

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library was recently awarded $500 at the Lunar Rendezvous Festival 2009 Distribution of Funds program.  The Festival annually raises thousands of dollars for the Bay Area Museum, college scholarships, cultural arts groups, Bay Area Turning Point, Interfaith Caring Ministries as well as area libraries.  This year's donation is earmarked to purchase classic Children's picture books.  Each new book will have a commemorative book plate honoring this wonderful and generous donation.  Thank You to the Lunar Rendezvous Festival volunteers who help make Clear Lake a better place to live and work.
