Adult Crafts-to-Go! Recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library will offer the “Adult Craft to Go” program beginning Wednesday, September 15th. Supplies will be designed to last through Friday, October 15th.
To recognize Hispanic Heritage Month, the craft project is a "gods' eye" which can be picked up at the second floor Information Desk. This project can be taken anywhere and made anywhere.

Retirement Myths & Mistakes

Gardening in Houston @ your library

Adults of all ages are invited to come to the under50over this Friday. Starting at 10:30 in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the first floor, hear Master Gardener Mary Demney talk about her kitchen garden and how to make your garden better.

Girl Scout IP:E! - Family Living

The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library is offering the continuation of the Girl Scout “Interest Project: Exploration” program on Monday, October 11th at 4:30 pm. The workshop will feature work towards the “Family Living” Interest Project Award, helping older Girl Scouts to accomplish some of the steps towards the "Family Living"  Interest Project Award. This workshop will take place in the Marge Jacobson Community Room which is on the first floor. 

Free Princeton Review SAT Practice Exam

pencil & paperAre you getting ready to take the SAT or PSAT and want a little practice before the big day comes? On Saturday, September 11th @ 11:00 AM join the Princeton Review @ the Freeman Branch for a FREE SAT Practice Exam. This is a two-part program, with a scores-back session on the following Saturday (September 18) so that you can review your scores, see what areas need improvement, and get some helpful test-taking strategies. Registration is required, so come visit us @ the Library, give us a call, e-mail me, or leave us a comment.
