Adults - New Year, New Adult-Crafts-To-Go Project

Adults - please stop by the upstairs Reference Desk, to pick up an Adult Crafts-To-Go kit. We're making a heart bead bookmark this month (see picture). This free kit will include all materials necessary as well as instructions. This project will be available to adult patrons while supplies last.

Adults - Friday, 1/5 @ 10:15 AM - TGIF Programs - Winter Film Festival Event #4!

Please join us for the last event of TGIF Programs Winter Film Festival on Friday. We will show a 1949 romantic comedy starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, and Judy Holliday. The film lasts 101 minutes.

Refreshments and DVD are provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. After Event #4, the DVD will be added to the HCPL Collection and available for checkout. This free program requires no registration.

Adults - Saturday, 1/6 @ 11:00 AM - Meditation for New Beginnings, Part 1!

In this busy, fast-paced world, peace seems like an elusive commodity. Please join Daya Sharma a longtime meditator, for this engaging workshop. He has been giving programs on meditation for many years. Daya will offer effective, techniques that can reduce stress, enhance relaxation, promote inner growth and improve our physical mental and spiritual health. He will also include a short meditation sitting. Begin the New Year with meditation and join Daya as he invites you on this journey.
