Adults - Friday, 6/30 at 3:30 - FamilySearch Genealogy Classes!

Learning about our ancestors helps us better understand who we are-creating a family bond, linking the present to the past, and building a bridge to the future.

FamilySearch is a nonprofit family history organization dedicated to connecting families across generations. It's all about family!

No Registration Required. Please join us. The Friends of Freeman Library support these classes. 

New Program: Toddlers-in-Motion starts Friday, June 30 @ 10:15 am

Toddlers from 18 months old through 3 years old have a new monthly program to look forward to starting this  Friday, June 30 at 10:15 am.   This movement and music program will include playing with new, developmentally appropriate toys.  Children are encouraged to dress in comfortable clothes such as pants, shirts, and tennis shoes because they'll be having fun jumping around and settling to the floor while they play and learn.  This month's activities focus on the  alphabet.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available when the library opens at 10:00 am.

Adults - This Friday - TGIF Programs Summer Film Festival Event #2!

Adults - Friday 6/30 @ 10:15 AM - TGIF Programs Summer Film Festival continues with Event #2! We will show Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, the 1939 film starring James Stewart as a naive man is appointed to fill a vacancy in the United States Senate. Jean Arthur and Claude Rains also star.

Thomas Davis "The Snakeman" visits Freeman Library on Thursday, June 29 for shows at 2:30 and 3:30 pm

   Psst...snakes in the library...Thursday, June 29, 2017...for shows at 2:30 and 3:30 pm.  Snakeman, Thomas Davis, will bring an assortment of snakes to show children on Thursday afternoon.   Mr. Davis will talk about the snakes and then pass them to teen and adult volunteers to hold so that children can get a good look at the snakes and touch them.   This program is recommended for children 5 years and older.   Tickets are required.  They are free and available starting 30 minutes before each session.
