Summer Volunteer Open House for Teens on Thursday, June 1 and Friday, Jun2 at 4:00 pm

Teens looking for volunteer time this summer can drop by the Children's Department on Thursday, June 1 or Friday, June 2 at 4 pm to attend a volunteer open house.  We'll have a brief talk about volunteer guidelines and then teens can sign up for volunteer time this summer.  To help coordinate busy family schedules, parents are welcome to attend!

Thursday Theater returns on Thursday, May 25 @ 4:30 pm

The Children's Department will by showing a recently released animated movie featuring an ancient Polynesian girl on Thursday, May 25 at 4:30 pm.  Tickets are required.  They are free and available in the Children's Department starting 30 minutes before the program.  

TGIF Programs Friday Film Series Celebrates Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month This Friday!

Adults - The TGIF Programs Friday Film Series continues Friday at 10:15 AM. In recognition of Asian - Pacific American Heritage Month, we look forward to showing Flower Drum Song, the 1961 musical comedy starring Nancy Kwan, James Shigeta, and Benson Fong.

Baby Playtime on Friday, May 19 at 10:00 am

Babies (infants through 18 months old) and their grownups will enjoy hanging out this Friday, May 19 at 10:00 am for Baby Playtime.  This program features board books, toys, bubbles and a cute art project.  The babies will be using their fingerprints to make "spots" on a giraffe craft.   No tickets are needed for this outing.   Special thanks to the Freinds of Freeman Library for supporting this program throughout the years.
