TGIF Programs Friday Film Series - This Friday!

The TGIF Programs Friday Film Series continues Friday, November 17 at 10:15 AM. We look forward to showing the film based on Brian Selznick's "The Invention of Hugo Cabret." Asa Butterfield, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Christopher Lee star in this film. This film, Rated PG, lasts 126 minutes.

SCORE presents this workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs who are seriously considering starting a business. At the end of the workshop the participants will have the opportunity to meet with SCORE certified mentors for Free and Confidential counselling.

Everyone - Monday, 11/20 @ 3 PM - NaNoWriMo Write-In!

 

November is National Novel Writing Month! In support of NaNoWriMo, the library will host write-ins for aspiring authors. Bring your laptop, journal, or any other writing tools you need to work on your novel!

Adults - Friday, 11/10 @ 2 PM - Color Me In - Relax & Have Fun with Butterflies for Citizenship Month!

In Honor of Houston's Citizenship Month, join us in some relaxing Butterfly Coloring for Adults. We will have coloring sheets to color and take home. Pencils and crayons will be available to use while here. (Feel free to to bring your own.) Supplies are provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.

Pajama Storytime on Thursday, November 9 @ 6 pm

 Looking for a fun evening outing for the young ones?  Join us this Thursday, November 9 at 6:00 pm for Pajama Storytime.   This storytime program features stories, songs, and a craft.  Children are welcome to wear their pajamas and slippers and bring a cuddly toy or blanket.   Tickets are needed for this program.  The tickets are free and available 30 minutes before the program.  Thank you to the Friends of Freeman Library for supporting this program over the years.
