NASA's ISS Exhibit Makes Final Stop at Freeman, Dec. 19 - Jan. 9

Over the last six months, NASA's International Space Station Exhibit has been orbiting the Harris County Public Library System. Today, through January 9, it makes its final HCPL stop at Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank Peggy Carruthers and her team at NASA for coordinating the program and giving us the chance to bring it to so many of our customers. 

TGIF Programs Winter Film Festival Returns this Friday!

The TGIF Programs Winter Film Festival returns with two events this season. We will kick off the Festival in the Marge Jacobson Community Room. We will be showing a 1947 classic starring Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O'Hara, and Natalie Wood.

Gingerbread Fun starts on Tuesday, December 16!

Join us for a holiday tradition at Freeman Library - decorating gingerbread houses.  These edible creations are made with clean milk cartons donated by Oak Farms Dairy and lots of goodies purchased with funds provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.  The gingerbread fun will be held on Tuesday, December 16; Wednesday, December 17, and Thursday, December 18 at 4:30 pm. 

Gingerbread House Decorating returns next week

It's time for another Freeman Library holiday tradition---Gingerbread House Decorating.  This festive program returns next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (December 16-18) at 4:30 pm each day.  It is recommended for children 3-12 years old.  Tickets are required.  They are free and given out starting 30 minutes before the program.
