Teens and Tweens: Zombie Survival Week @ the Library

This week, the Atascocita Branch Library is getting prepped for the Zombie Apocalypse!

Join us on Wednesay, June 12th at 3pm for Zombie Survival Guide. Learn survival basics, sample MREs, and create a mini-survival kit from a mint tin.

On Thursday, June 13th at 3pm, make a Paracord Wristband to add to your survival kit. It's fashionable and handy.

Both programs are suitable for tweens and teens (ages 10-18 years old). You do not need tickets or reservations but supplies are limited.

How to Get Your Free Ticket

 Todays program will require tickets.

In order, to provide a safe and positive experience for everyone, the majority of our programs do require tickets. Tickets for programs are free and available 30 minutes prior to the performance. All children must be able to sit through the program without a parent. Seating is limited and programs will begin on time.

Insider Tips for Successful Trips to the Library

All Aboard!

This years summer reading theme is "Have Book Will Travel." It's important to organize a travel plan before you head off to a new adventure. The same is true when you take a trip to the library.

It is my goal, to provide you with the tools that you need, to support a positive library experience for your family.

Summer Reading Carnival for Families!

We are having a party and your family is invited! Marsha’s Petting Zoo will offer children the opportunity to pet and play with farm animals, as well as, several that are a bit more exotic.  There will be llamas, fawns, calves, piglets, chickens, and more!

When: Tuesday, June 4th, from 3 - 5 pm.

Parents: Don’t forget sunscreen and cameras!
Note: This program will be held outside. Please be aware that outside programs may change due to weather.

Check the Weather here.
