Monday at the Little Blue Library

Today is Monday, February 18th and we have several programs in store for you.  In the morning at 10:30 am, we will have Story Time in the Garden.  It is for ages 2 to 6 years, and will take place under the Tree House.  It will be followed by a craft.  Then at 4 pm we will have Leaf Print Art.  We will be using leaves, paint, and glitter to make colorful pieces of art.  It will also take place under the Tree House.  It is for ages 6 to 11 years.   In the evening at 6 pm, we will have ESL taught by our beloved Cindy.  It takes place in the Mercer Botanic Center at 222540 Aldine Westfield Rd.  For more information on the location, please call Cindy at 832-927-5480.  This class is English as a second language, and is for members of the community who want t

Word Crafters on Wednesday at 5 pm

Baldwin Boettcher Library’s Word Crafters group will be meeting today, Wednesday, February 13 in Starbucks at 5 pm.  It is located at 1960 and Aldine Westfield Rd.  If you like to write or would like to start, come join us.  We would love to see you there.

Spin-a-Yarn on Wednesday

Today is Wednesday, Feb 13 and Baldwin Boettcher Library’s Spin-a-Yarn group will be meeting at 11 am in the Mercer Botanic Center.  It is located at 22540 Aldine Westfield Rd.  For more information on the location, please call Carrie at 832-927-5480.  If you like to knit, crochet, create, or chat, then this is the group for you.  We meet every Wednesday at this time and location, so come join us!

Tuesday at the Little Blue Library

Today is Tuesday, Feb 12 and Baldwin Boettcher Library will be having a Valentine’s craft for all ages.  It will take place under the Tree House at Mercer Botanic Gardens at 4 pm.  There will be adult coloring sheets for the adults as well, so the whole family can join in.  We hope you come and participate.  We would love to see you here!

African Food Tasting Program Today

Today is Saturday, February 9, and we will have our African Food Tasting Program at 1 pm for African American History Month.   The public will have the opportunity to sample traditional dishes of the African continent.  Please note, that some foods will contain peanut for those of you that have food allergies.   It will take place under the Tree House and no registration is necessary, so come join us!
