another picture of the robot

On July 11th, we were lucky enough to have the Klein Robotics Team come and demonstrate one of their robots. As you can see from the picture, it was pretty cool. We were able to watch and control the robot.

Senior Classic Movie Morning

July 24@10:00 am

Film from 1938 starring Jeanette McDonald, Eddy Nelson, Walter Pidgeon and Buddy Ebsen.“‘The Girl’ is as much at ease serving whiskey as she is trilling a tune. And when it comes to playing a hand of cards to save the neck of Ramerez, the man she loves, Mary does as any cowgirl would: she cheats. But Sheriff Rance has an eye for Mary and nothing would please him more than to hold a hanging for Ramerez.”

Senior Classic Movies are usually held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 10:00 in the Earl Elliott room. There can be changes in the schedule due to other library programs. Watch the Events calendar on the HCPL website: www.hcpl.net. Dates are changed in July due to the holiday.
Licensing restrictions prevent us from promoting the title of the movies. Call 281-376-4610 for information.
