New Computer Class: Creating Resumes

resumeNeed help with your resume? Then come and join us for free computer classes this Tuesday and Thursday, August 23 and August 25 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. You will lean how to create great looking resumes using Word, Publisher,  and Learning Express Library's Resume Builder. You will also learn how to upload a resume or send a resume to an employer.

Book Club, Friday, August 19 @ 2 pm

If you're watching the Summer Olympics, you may wonder, how do athletes who earn the coveted gold medals become champions?  What special qualities do they possess?  Join Crosby Book Club on Friday, August 19, as we discuss The Boys in the Boat, an inspiring story of the American rowing team, who triumphed at the 1936 Olympics held in Nazi Germany. 

Dental Day featuring Audrey Alanis

Tooth with happy faceWhat do your kids know about taking care of their teeth? Audrey will present a fun and educational program on dental care as her community service project for her Girl Scout Gold Award.  There will be stories,activities and giveaways all designed to help your children keep their teeth in tip-top shape! The fun all starts Tuesday, August 9, at 10:30 am.

Have a Virtual Vacation with Adult Coloring @ the Library

palm treesCan't get away to the beach this year? Then join us for a relaxing hour, coloring away stress, while listening to soft ukulele tunes. Your virtual vacation begins on Friday, July 29, at 2:00 pm in the meeting room.
 

Book Club, Friday, July 15 @ 2 pm

Crosby Branch Book Club will meet Friday, July 15, at 2 pm, to discuss The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper, by Phaedra Patrick.  In this story, Arthur, a lovable 69 year old widower, copes with the loss of his wife by clinging to his routine...that is, until he embarks on a surprising, life-changing journey.
