It’s time again to fill out those pesky income tax forms. Fortunately, AARP volunteers trained by the IRS will once again be at the Fairbanks Library 3 days per week to help people complete and file their federal income tax forms. There are no age or income requirements for receiving help from the volunteers. They will be here from February 1 through April 13, Mondays from 1 pm - 5 pm, Tuesdays from 1 pm - 5 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am - 2 pm. The volunteers offer assistance only in person (not by telephone) and only on a first come, first served basis. (Appointments are not possible.)
February is notorious for its bad weather. So, you may be stuck indoors and bored a lot this month. You might want to consider taking up a new indoor hobby.
