Pet Food at the Library

Once again, the Houston SPCA has arrived at the Maud Marks Library with more cat and dog food. If you or someone you know is in need of pet supplies, please come to the branch to pick up items. Please bring your own bags to carry the food home.

We are open until 6 PM today. However, the food goes very quickly so come quickly.

These items are donations from around the country to Houston SPCA. We would like to thank the Houston SPCA for their dedication to getting these supplies to where they are needed most.  We are honored to partner with them to make sure the affected pets in our area are taken care of.

Color Me Relaxed!

What is the coolest way for adults to relax and have a good time? Coloring! The Maud Marks Library has an adult coloring hour on the 4th Tuesday of every month. Join us on Tuesday, September 26, at 2 PM, as we color, chat, have a snack, and listen to relaxing music. We will provide plenty of pages for coloring and colored pencils, although, you are more than welcome to bring your own.

Smart-Sizing for Senior Adults

Be here at the Maud Marks Library at 3 pm and discover how to manage all the stuff you, or your loved ones, have accumulated over the years. Learn how to reexamine the type of living space you, or your loved ones, might need at this stage of life.  It's never too early to start. Click on link to register.

Hurricane Harvey

Have you been affected by Hurricane Harvey?  This area of town, just west of the reservoirs has been hit hard by the subsequent flooding.  Thousands of people have lost their homes, cars, and belongings to Harvey.  If you are one of the many in our area, please know that the Maud Marks Library wants to help.

I could not return my library materials because I could not reach the library due to high water. Am I still responsible for the late fees?
