Volunteer instructors are needed to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, citizenship, and adult literacy in our community.  Training and materials are provided along with flexible scheduling. Make a difference in your community today. All Harris County Public Libraries will close at 1PM Friday, August 25 and will remain closed through Monday, August 28.

Branches that have not opened as of 11:30 AM Friday will remain closed through Monday.

ReadyRosie is an early education tool that is currently helping schools and communities across the nation deepen and scale their parent engagement efforts by leveraging the power of video modeling and mobile technology to meet and equip parents where they are. ReadyRosie has hundreds of brief videos in English and Spanish that model everyday interactions in familiar environments with real parents.

All it takes is 2 minutes a day.
