Join us at the Parker Williams Branch Library on November 15th at 4:30 PM in the Library Community Room for our Community Craft.

This month, we will be celebrating Fall by creating a Harvest Wreath to put on your door to show your neighborhood your Fall spirit. 

Wednesday, November 14th at 5 PM – STEM Time – Musical Boomwhackers [6+]

 

 

Join us in the Library Community Room on Wednesday, November 14th at 5 PM for an exploration of sound and percussion using the Boomwhacker musical instruments.

Help with some teamwork as we plays some popular songs.  

Monday, November 12th at 5 PM – Drone Flying Club [7 to Adult]

The South Belt Ellington area has always been an innovative location for the expansion of aerospace.

With a grant from the Parker Williams and Harris County Friends of the Library, we have been able to purchase the equipment to begin our own drown flying club.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to fly a quadcopter, you can learn right here at the Parker Williams Branch Library on Monday, November 12th from 5 PM to 6 PM. 

Monday, November 12th at 6:30 PM – Wand Workshop and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (PG-13) [13+]

 

Ollivanders in Diagon Alley has been the place to go for ready made wands for decades.

Lucky for us that you can make your own custom wand right here at the Parker Williams Branch Library on Monday, November 12th at 6:30.

While creating your unique wand, we’ll be watching Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to refresh or catch up before The Crimes of Grindelwald is released.

Monday, November 5th from 6-7:30 PM – Magic: The Gathering Gameplay [8+]

Magic: The Gathering is a dueling card game from Wizards of the Coast.

It incorporates strategy, mythical lore, and competitive-community play.

Join us on the first and third Mondays from 6PM -7:30PM on the Library Floor for a few hours of game play.

For those who would like to learn how to play, a staff member will be present to teach you.
