Friday, October 26th from 4 PM to 6 PM - Anime Club – Sword Art Online (TV-14) [12+]

To celebrate all of the different video games that have been released this month, we are going to be playing Sword Art Online on Friday, October 25th at 5 PM in the Library Community Room for Anime Club. I’m sure you’ll be hooked and not able to log out.

For all those teens looking to volunteer to make their library community better, we have an opportunity to have their voice heard about the programs the library is offering, the teen books bought for our collection, and any other topic that effects how they live their life. Library Leadership will be the last Thursday of the month at 5 PM in the Library Community Room. 

Monday, October 22nd at 6:30 PM – Chess Club [8 to Adult]

New to the Parker Williams Branch Library, we are exploring the interest in the Southbelt area for a Chess Club.

Chess is a two player, strategy game that is played by people all over the world.

Staff members will be available to teach beginners how to play.

Chess Club will be held in the Library Community Room on October 22nd, at 6:30 PM. 

Thursday, October 18th at 4:30 PM – Community Craft – Halloween Craft [7+]

Join us at the Parker Williams Branch Library on October 18th at 4:30 PM in the Library Community Room for our Community Craft.

This month, we will be celebrating Halloween by creating a Pumpkin Yard Decoration. 

Wednesday, October 17th at 5 PM – STEM Time – Microscope Exploration [6+]

Join us in the Library Community Room on Wednesday, October 17th at 5 PM for an exploration of all things big and small.

Using some child friendly magnification, you will be able to explore all sorts of different specimens from plants to insects to sea life.
