Teen DIY and a Movie – Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (PG-13) 131 min. and Life Counter Bracelet Friday, August 24th at 4 PM

To finish off our summer’s ‘Libraries Rock ’ theme, we are going to be playing a movie with The Rock.

Join us for our showing of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle in the Library Community Room on August 24th at 4 PM.

While we are enjoying the movie, you can also make a Life Counter Bracelet. 

Community Craft – Duct Tape Pencil Pouch [7+] - Thursday, August 23rd at 4 PM


As school has started, there are a million things to juggle.

We have books, folders, glue, pens, and pencils.

Join us at 4 PM in the Library Community Room to get some relief from the clutter by making your own Duct Tape Pencil Pouch.

With over 50 different types of tape colors and prints, you are sure to find your style.       

STEM Time – Balloon Race Car [8+] - Wednesday, August 22nd at 5 PM



Join us in the Library Community Room on Wednesday, August 22nd at 5 PM for STEM Time project.

We are going to be learning about Newton’s Laws as we build and test our own Balloon Race Cars.

Come join us for an awesome action and reaction.  

Magic: The Gathering Gameplay [8+] - Monday, August 20th from 6-7:30 PM


Magic: The Gathering is a dueling card game from Wizards of the Coast.

It incorporates strategy, mythical lore, and competitive-community play.

Join us on August 20th on the Library Floor for a few hours of game play from 6-7:30 PM.

For those who would like to learn how to play, a staff member will be present to teach you.

Summer Program – Theater Arts Workshop [5+] - Saturday, August 18th at 4:00 PM


Shamelessly Saved Productions Theater Arts Workshop activities can provide a resource to ensure unique learning opportunities for young people to help them develop mentally and socially.

As they explore and identify who they are, they will be: improving academic achievement, building positive social networks, developing individual strengths, cultivating and strengthening values, and excepting and loving the skin in which they are in.
