Come learn about the Crystal City Internment Camp, the only family internment camp in the US during World War II. Inspired by the Gulf Coast Reads title: THE TRAIN TO CRYSTAL CITY by Jan Jarboe Russell.
The Stratford Branch was originally opened in a 1,200 square foot facility built in 1966. In 1985 Stratford was renovated and 1,500 square feet were added. The building is named in honor of Anna Stratford, who donated the property for the library.
