Join us as we build models with LEGO DUPLO tech machine kits. Learn about pulleys, levers, gears and ideas such as balance, buoyancy and energy in this 4- part series which will meet on January 5th & 19th and February 2nd & 16th at 4:30 pm. Limited to 16 children in Kindergarten - 4th grade. Please register one week in advance for each workshop. It is not necessary to attend all sessions because projects will be different at each session. Please call 832-559-4235 to register or for more information.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays from your Children’s Services Staff:  Cheryl, Christie, Cate, Ann, Paige, Lynn and Bubbles!  Join us for our weekly story times and programs through Wednesday, December 23rd!  The library will be closed 12/24 – 12/27 and will reopen Monday, December 28th at 8:00 am!

Public Scanner and Computer Equipment for the Visual-and-Hearing-Impaired

Good news! We now have a public scanner for your use on the first floor of the library. It will scan both individual and multiple sheets and you can scan your materials into our computer and email them to yourself.

The newly equipped computer is the one we used to call TOMDN28, located in the back corner of the library, and it also now has a bright yellow keyboard and software for the visually and hearing impaired.

Northwest Art League Members' work on Exhibit

If you need a moment of serene beauty in the pre-holiday bustle, the artwork in our meeting room will provide. Members of the Northwest Art League have hung some collages and paintings that I think you'll enjoy in Room L-129 during December. Breathe deep and enjoy!
