National History Day Topic 2012-2013 - Turning Points in History

As you students and parents are preparing for the History Fair topic, here are some resources for information that can be accessed from home through the Harris County Public Library website [2] using your library card. The World Book Reference Center [3] is a wonderful tool for research. There are links to thousands of articles as well as a link to primary sources for example, speeches, letters, treaties and other documents. There is also a Citation Builder link [4] which will help students cite their sources in the correct manner. In addition to the World Book there is also a database devoted to history, the  World History Collection [5]. So explore these resources as you work on your project.
