The Big Book of HacksPopular Science Magazine is making my day much easier.  They've come out with The Big Book of Hacks: 264 Amazing DIY Tech Projects [2] which includes a section on how to make a plant-watering robot out of a Roomba [3].  If that's not for you, how about learning to make a carrying case for your ereader.  Or, how about making your car run on trash?  Check it out.
