Graphic Novels receive Cybils Awards

A few weeks ago, School Library Journal [2] posted Three Graphic Novels Take Cybils Awards [3].
Cybils [4], Children’s and Young Adult Bloggers’ Literacy Awards, is an annual event that highlights Children’s and Young Adult books that “combine the highest literary merit and kid appeal.” Visit their website [5] for more information about these awards, past winners, and more!

Trip to the Bottom of the World with mouse Giants Beware Friends with boys

A Trip to the Bottom of the World with Mouse [6] by Frank Viva. This title is about a boy and a mouse and their journey to the majestic expanses of the Antarctic.

Giants Beware! [7] by Jorge Aguirre and Rafael Rosado. Meet Claudette, the village giant slayer. Follow Claudette and she seeks giants to slay in her safe and quiet home.

Friends with Boys [8] by Faith Erin Hicks. New to public school, Maggie enrolls in high school, where interacting with her peers is complicated by the melancholy ghost that has followed her entire life.
