On Tuesday, April 9, 2013, Kingwood Library hosted its 2nd Annual ESL Luncheon. Like many other HCPL branches, Kingwood Library offers English as a Second Language classes to the community. ESL tutors and students came together for an afternoon of food, fun, and festivities. Students brought dishes from their native country and entertainment was provided by Teresa Moore of Fretted Friends. Thanks to all who make the ESL program a possibility!
The ESL program is an important service that would not be possible without the help of volunteers. HCPL is always open for volunteers to help teach these classes. To learn about the ESL program and becoming a tutor, please visit or call the library.
