I've seen estimates suggesting that between a hundred forty- and two hundred thousand children in Texas are being homeschooled. Do we have resources for you! This month we've laid out an array around our round wall for you to discover: not just the standard manuals, but also subject materials in the Arts, Sciences, Sports, and even, animal care. We also have sheets of pertinent website links given to us by experienced homeschool Moms. And links to our language learning and test-practice databases. And magazines. And copies of the Texas Home School Coalition Review for you to take home. Lots of valuable resources. Lean on us. We can help.
We also have monthly programs for homeschoolers on Mondays during the school year. Art Explorers for Homeschoolers ages 8-12 is on the second Monday of the month at 1:30. The Bluebonnet Book Club, geared for 3rd to 5th graders, runs from September to January on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 1:30. There is also a Kidlit Book Club, also for 3rd to 5th graders, from February to May on the 1st and 3rd Mondays at 1:30. The Teen Homeschoolers Book Club, however, is full at this time.
