What would you do if you hosted a birthday party and no one came? That was a question we were asking ourselves up until the day of the party. But we needn’t have worried! In spite of the fact that the library has been closed since last September (thanks a lot, Ike), and the heat has been record-breaking, lots of kids and parents are joining us at the Seabrook Community House for our summer programming. Already this summer, almost 600 people have attended the various shows. That’s not bad for a library that is closed! And we had a very good turnout for Evelyn Meador’s twenty first birthday. Here are a few pictures from the celebration.
