The first winner of our educational box tops drawing is Madison from Mrs. Fuller’s third grade class at Jenkins Elementary School. Madison was able to give her school 289 box tops. Do the math: At 10 cents per box top, she was able to donate $28.90 toward Jenkins Elementary School’s goal.
The Friends of Baldwin Boettcher Library also donated juice boxes and popcorn so the class could have a popcorn party to celebrate their success.
If you want to help your community, this is an easy way to do it. Just cut out the box tops you see on various products and bring them to the Baldwin Boettcher Library. We are now taking nominations of schools to be entered in our next drawing on December 16, 2013. The lucky school will receive all box tops brought to the library from now until December 16.
The Baldwin Boettcher Library will be holding box top drawings four times a year, in March, June, September, and December. Students, please come to the library and nominate your school so you can have a chance to help your school and receive a popcorn party, too!
