With the latest Robin Hood movie in production starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett, and being rather a Robin Hood groupie, I recall the time when the Kevin Costner Robin Hood came out and a local TV station where I lived at the time ran a poll asking people who their favorite Robin Hood was: Errol Flynn or Kevin Costner . Of course, they left out plenty of other Robin Hoods as well. What about Douglas Fairbanks in the 1922 classic? Sean Connery in Robin and Marian ? 1991's Patrick Bergen as Robin Hood? Disney's 1973 animated Robin Hood voiced by Brian Bedford, or their earlier live action with Richard Todd ? With such an enduring legend there have been so many others. Since that time we've added Cary Elwes in Robin Hood: Men in Tights , Jonas Armstrong in the series Robin Hood , and now Russell Crowe. Errol Flynn will always be my favorite Robin Hood. What about you? Take the poll, leave a comment, or both!
